Precis The African Canadian Inventor Lapų skaičius: 1 Tipas: Konspektas Darbe esantys žodžiai: Elijah McCoy was born on May 2, 1843 after six years when his parents George and Emillia McCoy who were slaves, escaped from Kentucky to Canada. After three years his family moved back to U.S., were Elijah was attending his school till age of 15. Before 1859/1860 Elijah’s parents saved enough money to send him to school to learn mechanical engineering where he served as a apprentice in Edinburgh, Scotland. When Civil War was over Elijah returned to Canada, Southwest Ontario where he was living with his family about a year and could not find a job in his field. Afterwards Elijah moved to Michigan where he was working for the Michigan Central Railroad as a train fireman/oilman.
